Yeah, you are right. I'm giving him 4.5 to 1 on a 5 to 1 straigh draw.

I just couldn't see someone holding 79 or 9j with a re-raise. However, having said that, this was the first hand, so more the fool me.

Yes first play wasnt very good. You should bet a lot more on the flop. He has 32% of making a straight and 16% of making the straight on the turn. You gave him 33% equity right? So hes in the limit and he should call that. Putting implied bet odds there as well and hes got even more equity to call you or even raise you. I believe if you gave him 51% or more you would make it a bad call for him.

Second play was good he just played out his outs
