great way to store chips

Postby holdembert » Sun Apr 24, 2005 11:45 pm GMT

i use fishing tackle utility boxes (flambeau 43008) make sure you use this brand and model number.
each box will hold 276 chips, i have 4 of them in a soft sided tackle box, (1104 chips plus a chip rack in the top pocket for a total of 1204 chips} this soft sided tackle box has lots of pockets for holding my playing cards, timer, dealer buttons, etc.
to make it easier to remove your chips, buy some ribbon and glue it to the bottom of each slot, make sure you leave enough "tag end" so that you can pull out your chips.

p.s. this is how i combined my love for bass fishing with my love of texas holdem.

You know, if they were smart, they would hang around for a while, participate, get a post count, then spam. Try to blend in. That is what I am doing.

If you have ever been in the market for a chip case that holds exactly 1204 chips well your in luck! From now on I will not have to put those extra 204 chips, of my 1204 piece set of chips, on the side.

that reminds me of a friend of mines dad. He had a belt that said BASS FISHING on it, but sometimes his belt loop would hide the B and his belt would say "ASS FISHING"
