Hand from tonight's home game
V1 - classic TAG - UTG - 5,500 chips
V2 - classic LAG - MP - 15,000 chips
Hero - SB - 12,000 chips
Game is 8-handed, 150/300 +25.
V1 raises UTG to 900, UTG+1 folds, V2 in MP flat calls, folds round to Hero on SB with
.
Hero raises to 3,000.
V1 re-raises all-in for 5,500, V2 re-re-raises all-in for 15,000.
Hero ?
Questions are:
1. Is my SB re-raise the right size? If not, what is better?
2. What is the correct move here?

Re: Hand from tonight's home game
1. 3bet size seems OK, although I don't see it to be much important here.
2. Isn't it said like don't fold KK pf ever? Is AA the only hand this LAG would back shove with here? TAG is too short to think about him at all.

Re: Hand from tonight's home game
So glad I started this thread.
I obv called but really I was hoping for something of a discussion. While that discussion is perhaps rightly "call, say gg if V2 has AA" there is probably more to it than that. Nevermind.

IMHO, I think your re-raise was fine. I think it was Dan Harrington who said, "I'm not good enough to fold kings to aces preflop and neither are you." Enough said. I guess TAG had AA?

Re: Hand from tonight's home game
You would think wouldn't you?
TAG - AK
LAG - AA
I mean really, how cold decked can I be? 9/10 times TAG here is AA and LAG is AK, JJ or QQ and I come out ahead by taking down the side pot. Stupid game.
