Hand Rankings (boats and flushes)
Excuse my ignorance but I am finding myself in a sticky situation sometimes in regards to hand rankings…
I'll start with my question about a Full House:
"Aces FULL of fours" for example, means 3 aces and 2 fours, correct?
Would Aces full of fours be better then Aces full of threes? Or are they even? Do we only rank a boat based off of the ranking of the trips part of the boat? For example, would Kings full of deuces be better then Queens full of Aces? Does the kicker pair matter at all, or just the first part?
Secondly, onto a flush:
Say for example there are 3 hearts on the flop (one being the Ace of hearts) and that I am also holding 2 hearts in the pocket. Let us say that I am holding the 3 and 4 of hearts. Therefore I have a Flush - Ace high. BUT, if someone else is holding the 5 and 9 of hearts in the pocket, will they have me beat? Or will it be a split pot where we would both have an Ace high flush?
Thanks, hope someone can clear this up because I get a little confused sometimes and I do not want to be throwing money away whenever I get in situations such as these.

Aces full of fours means AAA44. Both parts of the hand matter.
For example AAA44 is better than AAA33, because it's a higher full house.
It's all to do with the trips, you are right there, because if you have the higher trips, no one else can have them, seeing as you can see 3 of the 4 ranked cards.
So for example: AAA22 is better than KKKQQ
With regards to flush....No, it would not be a split pot, because he has a higher flush.
Lets use your example.
Lets say the boatd is ATJ hearts, you hold 34 hearts and I hold 52 of hearts. I win because although we both have an A high flush, I have an ATJ5 flush and you only have an ATJ4.
