hands from the other night
1/2NL @ Barona Casino in So-Cal.
Table seems very loose/passive pre-flop (lots of limp/folding), and post-flop play is just bad. 1-2 guys out of 9 have an idea what they're doing. A couple touristy types have 100bb stacks or more.
I buy in for the max ($60, wtf i know) and am seated to the left of the guy who was probably one of the biggest fish at the table. He has 150-200 bucks in front of him.
Couple hands in I pick up AK offsuit UTG and raise 3xbb's, 2 caller's then fish to my right shoves all in. I fold, as well as one of guys who flatted my raise. board comes all low cards and fish to my right shows QQ trumping AJ and padding his stack even further.
10-12 hands later I've got KQoff in middle position and raise, one caller from late position. Flop is Q-4-3 2 diamonds. I lead for 3/4 pot, he moves all-in and i call. He shows Q-10diamonds and pulls a diamond on the river leaving me with 18 dollars.
Few hands later I have A-7hearts? in lp and after 6 ppl limp I shove all in and everyone folds. Now I have a few bucks to throw around.
Long story short, I keep grind on the mind and end up with roughly $100.
So i pick up K-7 hearts in the sb, mp player limps and button limps. i complete, bb checks.
Flop comes K-J-8 rainbow. I lead for 3/4 pot, bb folds, mp calls, button shoves all in. This guy has been playing a really abstract range of hands preflop.
So we played our prospective hand cheaply and hit paydirt. What's our move? Fish to my right has me covered and there is one player left to act. (Keep in mind, 60minutes before this guy had asked his friend whether a flush beats a straight.)
What's our move? Are we ahead enough times for this to be a profitable call?

Re: hands from the other night
Hand 1: How can you fold AK with 30bb after you have raised? This is by far a very easy call.
The last hand. I am not sure why you want to contemplate a call here but fold the AK. The pot is small, you just built up your chips and you may be 3 handed with the mp slowplaying something. He may be a fish, but that doesn't mean that when he shoves he will have anything. I think here I will just fold it especially as I am not too keen on having MP calling in the hand either.
