Have you ever sat at a table and......
Felt like you shouldn't be playing cards today . Wednesday i sat down at a table in Tampa Florida . I felt like I shouldn't be there. I was uncomfortable felt like I was playing like shit made one big mistake .
Through the 20-30 hands I saw I mucked 90% pre flop never saw a winning hand out of my mucks or the few I played .
The only pot I won was a semi bluff. Started KQ suited raised 5x bb got one caller flop was all garbage I was first to act so I raised to 1/2 the pot and guy folded.
Was my only winning hand. The entire time I was nervous felt like I was telling people everything with my face.
I have played at the casino quite often play all the time and I have never felt like that before. Have you ever had that happen to you?
If so what do you do ? Do you leave or try to play through it ?

You get days like that when you are not really in the right frame of mind to be playing. I usually quit and just do something else instead. Don't want to be playing poker if you not feeling it.

I get that feeling when I'm late for an appointment. Of cource the reason I'm late is I'm up and the same donk's that shipped me the money are trying their best to give me some more.

Yeah, all the time. If I'm online I'll try switching games. E.g., If I'm in a ring game I'll try a small SnG. (Hard to do in reverse, though.) Kind of a bummer when you've made a special effort to travel for a real card room (as you and I both have to do). You want to play, you came to play, but you know you shouldn't be playing. The folding 90% of cards just happens sometimes and probably isn't related.
