Hi guys, just wanted to introduce myself. long time reader first time poster. i'm a predominantly online player, pretty much stuck on pokerstars mercury level S&G's. is that a realistic level to start building a bankroll or am I just going to spin my tires? I can cash in 7/10 of my S&G's currently. Most are $1+.20. How much of a bankroll do i want before i move up? if this has been answered elsewhere i apologize.

Hello and welcome. Yes it is highly possible to build a bankroll from playing micro stakes SNGs. I have done so many times. A good rule of thumb is to have 20-50x the buyin.

I too built my initial BR playing micro SNG.

I suggest to go up to the $2 SNG.
You pay half the rake (in % to the BI) and you double your hourly income.
