Help on finding NBA Betting Website!?!?!?
does anybody know the best/most reputable/secure/etc website for betting on nba games. also it has to be a site that allows echecks because i dont have a credit card. so that would eliminate bodoglife which i would probably prefer to use since i gambled on it before the stupid online money-transfer thing happened.
thanks!!
thanks!!

Yeah, same here. I've got a few other accounts with other bookie's as well, but most of my daily transactions are with betfair.Muck wrote:I do all of my non poker betting on Betfair.
They are very good at taking/paying money, so I'm guessing they should be able to except echecks (not that I know what that is!)
If you do set up a betfair account and want help understanding it, then let me know (it can get a little confusing if you've never used it before)

i looked at the betfair site and right away a popup said i may be from a country that betfair doesnt take bets from. apparently the usa is blocked from that site. i have done some searching, a little bit, and i havent seen any site that both lets you deposit & withdraw with echecks. one site let you deposit but not withdraw, and then there were fees for withdrawing also.
i use pokerstars.com because they allow withdraw & deposit with echeck. it doesnt seem that any or many sports betting sites use this. its kinda frustrating because im an nba expert and i could probably be making a lot of money betting on it but its such a hassle trying to get it started!
edit - i did see a couple sites like beted.com but then to deposit via echeck there u have to fax in proof of ur bank acct and drivers liscense & stuff like that, so i guess ill pass on that, i didnt have to do any of that at pokerstars. it really is a hassle trying to get started at any of this. i guess ill just stick with making $1 an hour at poker.

I have a little question about Betfair, when you already mentioned it.
Is it possible to create the Betfair sportbook account and not to "touch" Betfair poker account? I would like to create the poker account there too perhaps, but not right now, because of the rakeback, bonus etc.; I want to clear the bonus on the another site first.

Good question. I don't have a betfair poker account either at the mo. I've posted a question on their forum. I'll let you know the answer as soon as they reply.odlozilik wrote:I have a little question about Betfair, when you already mentioned it.

bodog has sports betting and that woulda been the primary site i woulda liked to have used, but they dont have the echeck method, and i dont have a credit card. i wish pokerstars would get a sports betting division. i think im going to email them about it and see what they say. if neteller was still able to be used in the usa we wouldnt have any of these stupid problems!! thanks a lot government.

I asked the question to betfair. It seems you can create the sportsbook account without effecting your poker account.odlozilik wrote:I have a little question about Betfair, when you already mentioned it.

Here is their reply;
Dear Jimmer,
Thank you for your e-mail.
Further to your query below, we need to review a player's level of play for a minimum period of two months. If during these two months the player manages to generate the minimum of GBP 100 then the player is eligible for a deal. Rakeback credits are processed as per the below table, figures shown being rake generated on a monthly basis:
- £100 - £300 = 20%
- £300 - £1000 = 25%
- £1000 - £2000 = 30%
- £2000 = VIP Structure
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further enquiries.
Kind regards,
Josef Baldacchino

Thanks Jimmer for the reply. Although their reply you posted speaks only about the rakeback structure, I think I can sign up just for the sportsbook first, because the bonuses are different and separated, and I can even get the rakeback with the existing account too.

Yes you can.odlozilik wrote:Thanks Jimmer for the reply. Although their reply you posted speaks only about the rakeback structure, I think I can sign up just for the sportsbook first,
When I originally asked the question, they replied saying they wanted my poker username. I told them I only have a sportsbook account.
I then got a further response asking for my sportsbook account. I replied saying it was a general enquiry for a group of us who all play poker.
That's when she then replied with this info.
