High Stakes Poker 3/20
I must say, this was my favorite episode so far. Barry Greenstein showcasing why he's the man, and Phil Hellmuth losing $150k... my kind of night!
Couple points,
1. Wtf is wrong with Daniel? He is making some of the biggest donkey plays I've ever seen like he was an amateur or something. I guess being on tilt does that, but seriously, by respect for that guy has gone down about 50 points since this show started (and since I started reading his blog).
2. Incredible laydown by Antonio Esfandiari on the river with AA. He didn't play them well early in the hand, but he made the perfect play on the river. I don't like the guy, but I gotta give him that one.
3. Phil Hellmuth. What can I say? It's true, his cash game skills are laughable. Granted, any of us would have gone broke with the KQ top two pair, but I really think he should have folded when Greenstein had the quad 8's. It was so obvious that his only outs were a Q or a heart, but he calls on the river anyway. The only hand Barry could have had that made any sense that Phil could beat was 22, and his river bet doesn't reflect that. Some people say you can't get away from that hand, but I think it's pretty easy given the action. I liked his little blowup with 43 also. And lastly, I want to beat the PH speed record for getting chips into the pot.
4. Sheikhan is the scum of the Earth. Someone please kick him in the head.
5. I know it's courtesy, but I don't think Deeb should have agreed to run the turn/river twice against Daniel. He was a clear favorite, but running it twice makes it very likely he'll have to split the pot. Take his money Freddy; he obviously didn't deserve it.

I agree, that was one of my favorite episodes so far as well.
Man, it's like Phil just doesn't think. He knows how often a hand he's holding should win, but it's like he completely ignores his opponents betting, attitude, demeanor, etc. I almost felt bad for the guy. I wish I remember the quote, but I laughed my ass off when Sheiky said something to Phil when he (Phil) was sitting over on the couch bitching. He said "Stop crying Phil" or something like that and Phil was like, "Why do you have to start on me Sheiky? Don't you know you're outclassed? Heads up I would crush you". Classic.
And c'mon, you gotta give Danny some credit, though he's clearly tilting a bit, he has been getting his hands at some rotten times.

I dont know what happened. I was all ready to watch it last night, but it was the one where they accused Freddy of taking money off the table. Was I an hour early or late? I think this was last week's show.
I turned it on at 9pm CST.

Yeah, the same thing happened to me. I hadn't seen this one though, so it was fun to watch. Deeb was NOT amused.

Not that I know of. But for those of you that missed it, they replay it like 3 times during the week.
And Dave,
They do the new episode at 8PM CST, followed by a repeat of the last weeks. So if you don't catch it on a rerun this week, just start at 8:00 CST next monday, and you'll have a full 2 hours that you haven't seen.
