Home Game Question
Playing in our weekly home game the following happened.
Background: We have two decks going and SB shuffles the deck for the next hand.
While dealing a hand, two players go all-in, pre-flop. While the chips are being compared, the dealer, who is not in the hand, starts shuffling the deck in play.
What should be done?
Note: If there is a rule for this I would be amazed. I doubt this would come up in a casino.

Re: Home Game Question
Just continue. Fate has been messed with but otherwise no-one has been disadvantaged in any way so the hand plays out just as randomly as before.
There are instances where shuffling the deck mid-hand is the correct ruling (eg when a turn or river has been exposed when the action in a round is incomplete) so this is really no different.

Re: Home Game Question
That's what we figured we should do, but since I was one of the all-ins (pocket 8's) and my buddy was the other (pocket K's), I talked them into letting us split the pot and we moved on!

Ha ha, good work. Questionable work of course but good nonetheless.
