How I went off tilt!
Hey all:
Last night I discovered a way to help myself go off tilt when I really need it. I was playing in a $50 sit and go at PS and took a couple of bad beats. I was getting short stacked and starting to burn.
I was getting rags and actually considering playing them because I was so pissed off. So I decided to go into a $5 sit and go and just go wild. I sat out of the $50 and went hog wild in the $5. I was raising and going all in with nothing - just playing like a maniac. It took about 10 minutes for someone to finally take me out but I really felt better and was able to play the rest of the $50 with a clear head. (No I did not finish in the $$, I finished 4th - arghhh)
I'm sure that this was a little annoying to the people at the $5 game, but I figure that there are so many maniacs on PS one more wouldn't hurt. Not to mention that the guy who had the guts to call my bluffing actually profited from it.
Anyway, I wondered if anyone else has used this method to go off of tilt or if anyone has a better one. (Assuming that you are in the middle of a tourney and can't just walk away for awhile)
