How old does someone have to be to play online poker? Pokerroom.com says 18, but this makes no sense at all, seeing how casinos are 21.

Are all the online places like this?

Does it even matter if I have a credit card?

Idk i play online Im 18. But i also play at a casino thats about 2 hours away. You only need to be 18 because its on an indian reservation. But :D ........Its fun to beat the elders :lol:

Casinos are only 21 because of the booze that is served there. You can GAMBLE at 18, i.e. when you turn 18 you can buy scratch tickets. It's just that you can't drink. If you go to non-alcoholic casinos, 18+ can gamble. Obviously, there is no booze online, so you can gamble there.
