How to analyze a hand history?

Postby Nordath1 » Wed May 27, 2009 10:15 pm GMT

I have just started playing online holdem and I want to learn from my hand history files. However, I do not know what to look for or how to use them to learn. What should I look for when analyzing hand histories? How do the rest of you use them? Thank you in advance.

your better of with a stat tracker

there are a few, two come to mind with high remarks. Both can be downloaded as a free trial and then bought if you feel the need later.

PT, Poker Tracker
HEM, Holdem Manager

Theres a thread some where with peoples likes dislike and all the good stuff.

try them out for yourself.

Its difficult to just find mistakes or leaks thumbing through the hand history folder.
