Triad - How did you make that table.

I don't know if you have any plans written out or not, but if you do, I would appreciate it if you could email me. I am most interested in the how you built the legs. Thanks.

I dont really have plans written out or anything.

Originally the legs were 31 x 31 in. squares
I free handed a jigsaw cut - cutting out the arch (didnt do a bad job either) and just used that cut out as a form for the other parts of the leg.

Everything folds up using piano hinges.
the middle section folds first, then I have one of the legs screwed into a 3/4 in. board (so it props the leg up to fold flush over the middle section) and the other leg 1 1/2 inches high to fold over the other two peices.

Poker Table

Postby bartish12 » Fri Mar 26, 2004 11:27 pm GMT

Triad - Sorry to pester you about this. But I am still at a loss as to how you built this thing. 1) What kind of wood did you use. 2) Can you explain the legs to me again, I did not quite understand how they were made, and more importantly I don't know how they fold and unfold. Thanks.
