I'm SO bored!

Postby BeerWench13 » Wed May 04, 2011 4:03 pm GMT

Since I don't have a real job anymore, I've been working part time for the last year or so. Well, I'd get home from work around 12:30 or so, eat lunch and play online for a few hours while reading, doing laundry and housework, etc.

What do I do with myself now??? I have entirely too much time on my hands and no online poker. Anyone think the U.S. will allow online poker again before I go stir crazy?

I don't know enough about this, so you could just tell me to shut up, but I have friends in the Middle East (where gambling is fobidden) who play poker online through a server in the US.

Unsure how the whole thing works, but there must be an opportunity for someone in Europe to do something simular for US players (if they are not doing it already).

Obviously, as a MOD I would also advise you that if this idea turned out to be illegal - you shouldn't do it.

Just a thought.

I know what you mean. For years I've wound down my day (night) with a SnG or hour at a ring table. I had a LOT of friends on Stars that I would encounter regularly and the games were fun and social.

Now I'm sitting here piddling around, waiting for the 11 o'clock news, and drinking tequila. (Well, at least one thing hasn't changed.)

My post count on the THP Forums is going up, though. I'm closing in on the thousand-post mark.

You really must be bored. You (like me) are posting all over the site when neither of us has been that active lately.

Rookie.

I also post on a book forum and have been a little more active there of late, especially since I got my kindle, but there's still more time than I've ever had in my life and I'm pretty much by myself since people with real jobs are at work. You can only clean house but so much and the weeds don't grow that fast in the garden. I guess I'm going to have to find another hobby.

Suggestions?

Homemade porn seems like the obvious next step to me.

I remember a few years ago I went to stay at my grandparents and brought a bottle of tequila with me. The next morning I walked into the Kitchen and found my Grandpa pouring loads of salt onto his tongue, he then took a shot of tequila then started eating an orange.

I asked him "Wtf are you doing?" and he answered "Isn't this how you drink tequila".

It was hilarious. I don't know how old people can do stuff so crazy. He virtually drunk the bottle of salt.
