My sit & go game ended thusly this afternoon:

#3 is the button Seat 3: igtur$ (5150 in chips)
Seat 4: TomJQKA (2560 in chips)
Seat 8: shammy38 (3980 in chips)
Seat 9: rl49003 (1810 in chips)

TomJQKA: posts small blind 100
shammy38: posts big blind 200

rl49003: folds
igtur$: raises 200 to 400
TomJQKA: calls 300
shammy38: raises 200 to 600

you called two preflop raises with 10J suited from small blind...

but you got a favorable flop....two more spades...

on the turn you picked up the NUTS...

why didn't you go all in right there??

maybe ( just maybe) he lays down his pocket rockets...

tough call on his part but I would have to lay them down if you were the type of player to play alot of suited cards earlier in tournament...

he figures there are only 7spades left in the deck and he has to get one of them....


unless you don't have the flush...

the only real way to save this hand was to push on 4th street, and hope he folds. I dont know how diciplined a player he is, but it would take a better man than me to lay down AA with the nut flush draw.
