Re: In honour of our friend......
Damn good advice and so correct. Thanks. As far as posting here, I rarely do and when so just to defend myself when people feel the need to attack. i'm a counter puncher, always will be, but you're right when you say the only thing that matters is how i feel and what makes me happy.
I am back on top of my game and anyone who does read my blogt knows I have a reader named cam who was instrumental in helping me refind my game that i had somehow lost for awhile. As far as my poker career goes, i hope to be 9 tabling $1/$2 by September and then finally I will make the first step to calling myself the professional poker player I have been trying to be for 6 years. At first the income will be like having a part time job, but as the stakes increase so to will the income.
as for becoming better or debating, well i'm already the best limit player in the world lol. Love a good debate, but as far as putting input on this site, please go back to making this place look like it used to. this has to be one of the ugliest forum boards ever. Yuk. It looks so "robotic" The look of the forum has no personal touch to it.
Currently 9 tabling .25/.50 for 2000 hands a day on Stars. Will be going to .50/$1 sometime this month and will also achieve Gold Level status and once there the bonus money will be rolling in a minimum of $100 a month to add to the profits.
So poker wise, all is going really good. other parts of life are a struggle, but i deal as best as i can.
Time to get to work at the tables. Peace, all.

I'm not going mad am I? That was posted on 2nd July?
For me, July is looking good also - I'm going to win the lotto on all four Saturdays, record a #1 single with Lada GaGa and sleep with Angelina Jolie. Bring it on.

Well I am basing that estimation on the fact that June was 23,000+ hands 9 tabling .25/.50 for a profit in the neighborhood of $270 and an earn rate of about 2.25/100. Now add to this that July will see me play 50,000 hands on the ring games and I will be recieving 2 separate $50 bonuses, one a Stellar Reward and the other a VIP store bonus purchase, I think $500 in earnings for July is quite a conservative estimate.

What's to say that July isn't a downswing month? If you can guarantee $500 at your stakes, why not play ten times higher and guarantee $5,000 a month? Or ten times higher than that? Do you see?

Not a guarantee, simply an estimation and I do not play above my bankroll so 9 tabling higher levels is out of the question until the appropriate BR level is reached.

Re: In honour of our friend......
Things must be going really badly. Usually when there are 'struggles' the goal posts are moved in the poker arena, not hiding the blog. Sometimes a switch from 4 tabling to 9 tabling is required, sometimes it is a switch from cash games to MTTs only, what's certain is that if something isn't working, it is changed immediately and the old method is sworn off forever.............. Until the new thing doesn't work, then the old thing comes back.

Re: In honour of our friend......
the blog is not dead and any of you that do read it know what has happened quite recently. I will not open myself to cruelty by revealing it here as I am sure certain persons like half sugar and certain others would like nothing better than to enjoy the opportunity. Suffice it to say that when it comes down to it, poker's importance is second rate to a great many things. I am still a full time player but as I have been banned because I live in WA state I now play live exclusively.
