Interesting Hand
This happened the other night in a $20 SnG. Afterward, the remaining players berated the villains play, but I think it was totally reasonable.
5 (9 to start) players remaining. 2 have just over 4K, and others are all about 1500. BB has played hardly any hands, but gotten paid big. CO got most of his chips recently by hitting calling 2 AI players with a FD and hitting.
Blinds are 80/160. CO min raises. Button and BB call.
Flop 2:spade: 8:diamond: J:diamond:
BB Checks, CO Bets 500, Button folds, BB Calls.
Turn 9
BB Checks, CO bets 1100, BB CRAI (has CO Covered)
CO instacalls with 6
7
BB turns over Q

Can see nothing wrong with either line really. I guess if I was CO there may be a case in checking behind turn in order to preserve chips. I dunno, I don't play SNG's but I'd prolly bet again hoping to try and pick up the pot and if I do get CRAI then f*ck it I got OESD+FD.
Only difference with the QTdd for me is I would be check raising the f*ck out of that flop if I have chips because a gutty and a flushy is good enough for me to gamble.
