Is that a typical higher limit play?
Today I just took a spot at 1/2 and 2/4 (after a few suckouts , including busting my AA twice), and I had something to see. Are those people just so rich, or is it actually a good play?

Well, they perhaps couldn't learn that because I think I am not a calling station, lol! I am pretty tight, it just happened I somehow made those few maybe a little bit controversial calls.

I put him on anything but ace, lol! If I pushed the river myself, he would only call with the hand which beats me, so I let him to do it for me. If he accidentally had an ace (or any boat of flush), oh well...Btw, wouldn't he raise the flop with ace? He would hardly slowplay it, because of 3 diamonds on the flop.
Btw., I consider the call in the hand 3 to be the worst, he could really "easily" have K, considering his flop reraise. But, I felt too committed to fold it.

I think that the majority of raises come from Ax hands. So not putting those in his range in hand 1 seems nuts to me.
board is scary. Some players play scary boards by raising - others play it more cautiously. I don't think his call means he has an ace for sure, but it would scare me a bit. I probably lead out on the turn though anyway, its unlikely that your opponent is going to like a 2nd barrel, and you have 11 outs. The problem with the hand I have is the river. When that 2nd ace hits, I find it less likely that they have an ace, BUT because you check-called the turn, I give him the credit for an ace, and so that last ace check-call is a bit nutty IMO.

You found some people who play terrible. You didn't play exceptional poker in my book. You didn't make a fantastic call on any of those hands. You just found some really bad poker players.
But the good part is you found them and come out on top...

Well, such a hands happened quite a lot, when I started to play NL 2/4$. It seems to me many players have changed a lot after they came to know me better, they don't put money in with me so easily. Eh, those were golden times.
