is this allowed
tonight i was playing a game with a few friends . in the hand i got kod in i had Q 10 everyone except one other guy folded preflop . the flop came 3 Q 6 . my opponent made a small bet and then i pushed all in . before making his decision my opponent put his cards on their backs to reveal his hand . After flippin his cards he eventually made his decision after a long thought process . Im just wondering do the rules permit that you can do this or is it illegal ? .
thanks

The answer will vary depending on where you play. In a casino, revealing your hand like that will make it dead but in a home game, it comes down to the rules of that game.
The home game I play in allows people to do this purely because it can make hands more interesting and we're not taking it 100% seriously all the time. Before doing it, everyone should be clear on the rule so there is no confusion.
