is this cheating
im in a tournement first player goes all in for 1000 icall player comes over me all in he is sitting next to first all in i deliberate about what to do meantime 2nd all in shows first all in his cards what is the rule for this is there two cards dead cheers kp

He showed his cards to just the player who was AI ? If that is the case I do not think it is against the rules, bad form for sure. I am not 100% on this but I think it is legal. Both players are all in and can't change their play.

but what about when a playerA bets on (for example) the river, playerB folds, and playerA then shows his cards to the guy sat next to him. Well and like I said I may be wrong. Someone correct me if I am .
In this case the player paid to see his hand. It would be polite to wait to show your hand but it doesn't really matter and eventually everyone else will see the hand after player 3 acts regardless of a call or a fold.
In the situation you described no one paid to see the hand so you have to show it to all if you show to one.
