Is this correct?
I was playing online, I had 7,8 in the hole... the flop was K,J,7 I stayed in then came a K, then another J
So there was 2 pair in the middle, and I had a pair of 7's too! I was positive I would win!! I had 3 pairs, I know this isn't an official poker hand, but I thought it would be strong!!
I lost to a guy holding an ACE and a 5 nothing else.....
I know it's probably correct, but wouldn't you agree holding another pair is stronger than an ACE?
Any comments welcome to a noob!

if this is a serious question i suggest you read up on poker a bit more before playing for any money. that said, its a 5 card game. 5 on the board plus your 2, so you take the best 5 cards to make a hand. you had KKJJ8 and you opp had KKJJA. he wins.

I might add carefully that you learn what the top 10 hands are and for a while only bet them. I am not the best poker player here, but I know enough not to be caught with 7,8. if I saw those cards I would have folded unless I was the big blind and no one raised in which case I cannot fold and must play.
