Me too but was a bold move to go all-in, I might have check raised based on how quick he went in (unless he flat checked in which case I'd have felt good for taking a pot and not risking all my chips I think!).

yes i did consider this but i think for the flush, on the flop he called me, he would been drawing, thats why i checked turn, which he then raised, if he had been on the flush draw i would more imagine that he would have checked also? especially after i raised on flop.
from betting to the turn i had put him on a small pair only (i was hoping TT)
I realise it was still a big risk, but i was fairly certain he wasn't drawing and had in fact a made hand.
the only real debate for me when river came up was how much to bet, i did consider 3000, but thought hey ho, if i go all in he will be more likely to think of the bluff and call me with his made pair (espesh if top pair) or else fold thinking i made the flush.
I do know it was a risky strategy and i did alost brick myself when he called.
but it all worked out nicely
