Kicker clarification

Postby Masasman » Sun Jun 22, 2008 8:43 am GMT

We hold a home game every week and we're normally pretty o.k with the rules but this scenario came up and led to a 'heated debate'

Player 1: A9
player 2: A6

Flop: A,Q,Q,J,3

Is this a split pot or does the 9 win it as the higher kicker in hand?

Thank you in advance

chop pot.

both players play

AAQQJ

Just remember, u make the best five card hand. If that doesn't include the kicker, then the kicker doesn't play.
