We should just sticky this as the unemployed thread...lol.
I found out today that I will be out of a job by the first of next week. Now mind you I still work for another data management service but the office where my main job is will be closing.
Now normally this would be bad news. However, now I find out that I am president for a corporation that speciallizes in medical claims. So I should be getting a paycheck from that in a few weeks to a month.
Still more great news coming from this layoff will be the fact that we (The wife and myself) will be moving from the damn god forsaken cold of the north and head our happy frozen asses back toward the South. So long freezing temperatures and heavy snow.
So if you gents and ladies (if there are any left on the forum) do not hear much from me you will know why.

Where are you moving to?
Thinking seriously about heading back home to Missouri. I like it there because of family, friends and great fishing.
Someone has the balls to make UAU the PRESIDENT of a CORPORATION?
And we wonder why the economy has gone to shit...
LOL...thanks for the vote of confidence you putz.

Thank you. Good luck to you as well. I am not worried. Laid off for a few days and already had a few job offers. Right now I am mainly taking time away from the "grind" to relax and think about things. I'll get back to work in a month or two. Till then moving back to my home state and I am going to enjoy time with my family and friends.
