Late in 45 player $10 SnG

Blind vs blind

HERO in BB with 4:heart: 7:heart:
Blinds 120/240. HERO has 9K SB has 12K. SB has shown down a few premium hands recently for large pots.

SB limps and I check.

Flop comes: 6:spade: 5:club: 3:club:

SB Checks, HERO bets 480 (pot) and SB flat calls.
Turn: 8:heart:
SB Checks, HERO bets another 480, SB flat calls.

River: K:spade:

SB check, HERO bets 920. SB Raises to 2000

HERO?

if he has 9-7.. thats too bad. im not gonna just call because i'll be leaving alot of value on the table vs two pair/sets/4-2

I was villain and I did have 9-7. Too bad he didn't think more like you guys - he just called.

I ended up taking 2nd in that one - went card dead when we got to heads up.

I was hoping he'd think the king did something for me and push with whatever he had. I wasn't going anywhere after I turned the nut straight.
