Lederer - Learn from the Poker Pros
Does anyone know if the Howard Lederer show Learn From the Poker Pros is still being aired or being offered on DVD? I really used to enjoy that show but we moved a few months ago with a new cable provider and I don't see it any more. Not sure if the station isn't in the lineup on the new provider or if the show was discontinued.
Any insights from anyone will be greatly appreciated.

Yep, Not The Same Thing

Bummer. I've actually got that CD also.
For those who've never seen this show it was really great. The show would have several segments in a half-hour format. Lederer would usually have four or five pros on as guests in a roundtable format and they'd discuss a specific topic such as tells, bluffing, etc. I remember them doing hand analysis of some televised tournament hand on every episode. One of the best parts for me was when the pros would highlight common mistakes amateurs would make. This was really educational and it was amazing how many 'trade secrets' these people were willing to give away.
The most memorable episode was one where they played a recored tournament hand in which Daniel Negreanu concluded by calling out his opponents' cards dead on target. Lederer then went through the hand and duplicated Negreanu's reasoning process step by step. I didn't learn how to do it, but did learn that it wasn't magic and was learnable.

IIRC, that show was on Fox Sports, co-hosted by Chris Rose from Best Damn Sports Show Period, who also co-hosts Poker Superstars with Lederer. I haven't seen it in a while, and have no idea if it's on DVD or not, but check your local Fox Sports station (or website) to try to find it.
