Long and interesting hand...SPOILER at bottom

Right , this is a 10r on ftp, things were going well, I was chipping up pretty handily by playing selectively agressive and fortunately noyone was playing back at me much (unlike the thpsop!),then this hand comes up. I had this guy has an "orange" (colors i use to code players), which means, hes not as far as i can see doing wreckless dumb moves, just playing solid.
This particular hand he 3 bet me from late position, and Im holding one of the much better hands I had up till this point,soon as he 3 bet me, i almost insta potted it but thought wait a second, what does this accomplish? he folds out the hands he's getting cute with, however this is rare if at all based on my read of him. Plus in this mtt, things were going fine, i know hes not layin jj/qq if i pot/shove over his bet so do i really need to flip if he has that ? Plus he could have aa/kk. So I opted to flat OOP I know, which most ppl wud suck, im playin for stacks most probably on A hi or Khi flops so its ok.

Flop comes QQ8, Nearly all the time here, most people would check to the raiser, and that's fine, but here, I thought, If he has TT+,he's comign along, I KNOW THIS, but he could have AK aswell and he could have a 3 bet silly hand pre flop cos he was in position, and I'd really hate to check fold to like 67s here. I felt like my hand would look like some kind of made hand like 9-9 and if he was making move pre flop, hes folding, if he has AK, he might peel, but will probably fold that too... so that was my thought.

He flats my donk lead, which lead me to beleive, he wasn't 3 bet bluffing pre flop, since he would either raise( VERY UNLIKELY) or fold (almost certainly). Turn..... Q.. so now theres trips on board , any pair is a full boat, and i check to him. He checks back. Which at the time, felt like he could not have 99/TT/JJ and maybe not even KK. It was either a lucky AQ that made quads, or AA, and possibly AK some % of time too.
River bricks, and i check 1 more time, he bets 6k into 14k, and i give it some thought , perhaps foolishly type "aa then " in chat and fold.
He replies and starts chatting ALOT, after this, at 1st sayin " i think id riase aa on turn"..and I replied " why? there's no danger, thats why you can".... he kept talking and at the time it seemed like he was agitated or had an attitude, i later found out this wasnt true, but interesting stuff nonetheless, he wanted to know why i put him on AA precisely especially since i had AK.( I had told him i hadnt a boat when he said i had a pair), and he said " u had ak and u put me on 2 aces, bold read"... basically i pointed out during the break that i didnt put him on TT/JJ type hand since his 3 bet pre flop looked too small for those pairs and those pairs altho might flat flop donk lead , would surely protect against overs on the turn, = why i thought even KK would too. Anyway, he said he'd tell me what he had when one of us busted, and the chat is below the hand, i didn't cash and busted A-4 to K-J when i got short.

P.S I know its not wise to chat at the table, but in this case, it wasn't tapping the glass or insulting someone, it was purely to find out information albeit at my expense in some ways as they knew after this i was a somewhat thinking player.

i think you truly underestimate the sheer quantity of sh*t people talk in chat. If i say what hand i had, the only thing you can eliminate is that is the one hand probably didnt have.

Donk lead is only crap against a good or lag player imo, not vs predictable/tight opponent. If im not willing to stack pf here, then i gots to be able to win some pots without hitting here right ? Trust me , if he was being fancy pre flop then he's not going to re raise the donk lead here, what can he do? shove?

Kemics, this guy was the one doing all the chatting and actually didn't say his hand at the time but said to look for him later, thats why i trust he had A-A. (and the fact it made total sense). The only reason he was asking alot of questions at the time was cos he was curious to know why i thought he had bullets.

I agree its a reasonable spot to just get it in pre flop,but with like 48bbs I dont think its automatic.
