Looking for Casino closest to Madison, WI
Heya all
I see people asking about places to play on the board so I thought I would break down and ask. I have checked out all of the Wisconsin casinos and none of them feature a poker room at all. I am a fish and am anxious to get into a real card room and lose some money. Now I don't want to lose money but I have never played anything in person other than a home game so I know it is at least partially inevitable.
If anyone has ideas of places I could go nearby, obviously out of state, that would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.

I play at Canterbury Park in Shakopee MN. Lots of tourneys and bonus nights. 2-4 to 15-30, limit play, no-no limit except for tourneys. Lots of tables open 24/7-very well run place.
under 300 miles from Madison, Mystic Lake Indian hotel/casino nearby as well.
Both have web sites if you want more details.

In case you haven't found out yet, Ho-Chunk Casino in Baraboo has poker now! Hold'em 2-4 4-8 5-10 etc. Hopefully if DeJope gets their casino permit... (don't forget to vote on it!) they will offer poker... Actually DeJope is a little too close to home for me to keep from playing too much...

There is a poker room/club in Rockford Illinois. I have never been there as it is a 3 hour drive from Springfield. They do have a website and it seems like a reputable place. They hold tournaments for charity, not sure what the rake is.. Check it out.
