Lost to a Royal Flush
Was playing poker at a local bar two nights ago. Its my deal, blinds are 50/100.
I'm dealt 8 10 suited clubs. Everyone folds to me, I call.
SB folds and BB simply checks.
The flop: 9c Kh 10h. BB checks, so I bet 100 on my middle pair. He calls.
The turn: 10s. I figure he is on a straight or flush draw but I've made my set.
BB bets 200. I call.
The river: Ah. He checks. I assume he must of either missed his straight by having AQ or he had 2 pair and he's worried about the Ace. Still assuming I have the best had with trips and AK as kickers, I bet 200.
He calls, putting himself all in.
He flips over the QJ of hearts! Completing his royal flush.
Can't be mad to losing to that, plus he tipped the dealer.
