Lucky You (spoiler)
Although I might actually be doing you a favor if you read this spoiler and then missed the movie.
Anyway, there's a scene in which the protagonist and another guy get it all in heads-up a satellite for a Main Event seat.
Hero has 10s vs 8s, they stand up, but villian notices there are only two burn cards. He calls the floor, who rules that the exposed river is the burn card, naturally an eight pops off and hero is busted.
Leaving aside the fact they didn't count down the stacks or anything, that doesn't seem like the right ruling. Anyone know for sure?

I saw that too. It is the right ruling IF they are sure that he burned on the turn.
However, who knows what the real burn card would have been in that situation? The "missed" burn could have been preflop, preturn OR preriver.
