Making a play shorted handed against an aggressive player
Unsure if I played this right?
We have been 4 handed for the last 10-15 minutes. Top 4 get paid. JASMW had consistantly re-raised my 3xbb pf raises, THEN bet around half to two-thirds the pot on the flop EVERYTIME. At first i obviously took his play serioiusly, but then when it happened 4-5 times I realised it was probably just a play for the pot.

If you're comfortable with the reads, fine. It's kinda hard to analyze with so much outside information. In a vacuum, I may fold to the preflop reraise due to stack sizes and the fact that he is probably c-betting anything on the flop.

LAG players will push you around all day if you let them, so you will have to make a stand at some point, this is one of the most challenging decisions you will find yourself making. Finding that position is great when you get it right and may keep LAG of your back, but be sure it’s a decision you will be confronted with over and over again. I think you have done the right thing and made that decision on your read of this player but given that you are now offering him 2/1 odds to call, this means he only has to get it right 33% of the time to make the call and break even.
