Merseyside games

Postby TopToffee » Mon Sep 06, 2004 10:47 pm GMT

there's a few of us in the Birkenhead/Wirral area that play semi-regularly, but not really enough for a TRULY decent game (sometimes as few as four)

so, on the look out for either an already established game to play in (which could cope with two more people) or individuals in the area who fancy a game.

any takers??

Jamie

What sort of stakes are you looking at getting involved with?

well, we usually play around a £5 or £10 buy in NL game, with rebuys for a given period (usually an hour), but am willing to consider games of various sizes, so long as the stake's not TOO big....

but would be interested to at least HEAR about ANY games on offer in the local area.

The Grosvenor (West Derby Rd (by the Grafton)) do tourneys every Tues and Thurs.

Registration normally has to be done by 9 and buy-ins can go on till about 11 I think (£5 Tues/£10 Thursdays).

For Tuesdays, the Chip value starts at 50p (you get 10 chips for the fiver).

Or were you after private games?
