Mold for Paraoh chips?

Postby JayHRC51 » Wed Mar 16, 2005 6:10 pm GMT

Is the mold that is shown in the pictures on this thread

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showt ... 14&fpart=1

the new mold that all paulson home chips are going have? I have not seen this mold style anywhere before.

I heard that trademark was getting the inlay size changed, but did they get a new mold as well? Or is what's pictured just a chip design they use to get the graphics and stuff approved?

It would be great if that was a new mold, I think it looks better like that. But I haven't heard anything about it.

We have not confirmed this mold yet. We are HOPING they'll take a hint, and I have forwarded the design to them. We'll have to wait a few days I think.

Everyone's still holding their breath on the concentric circles.

I hope they leave the mold the way it is. It's perfect.

the current mold would be very nice with the giant inlay.......

this new proposed mold would be very nice the way it is.......

I just wish I could see an actuall picture of these Trademark chips. That inlay style is basically just what I want. Denominations only, no other graphics so to speak.

I really think the Pharaoh chips are great looking, you guys did an awesome job on the graphics and layout. It's just not what I want. Maybe if I were to see them in person I would change my mind?? I don't know. But If I'm spending over a grand on chips, I want something as close to my idea of perfect as I can get.

Ten, your mold would be my first choice, just with the tradmark inlay.

Thanks for the replies.

Even Trademark hasn't seen them yet. The owner told me that the mold isn't completed yet, so i sent him a sample of what "WE" wanted to see. It'd be pretty cool if it comes back looking like our mockup. :)

You're basically saying that Trademark has 1 month (approx. 4 weeks) to get a final mold and get the 100K+ chips from Paulsons to be able to make the April 17 ship date? Not gonna happen.

I'm just going by what they say: April 17th. And I'd bet that Trademark is producing a lot more than 100,000 of the stock chips though.

If you know how many chips Paulson can make per day, I'd love to know...

Go down to Paulson's factory in Mexico (If you can find it) and you can find out how many chips they can crank out in a day.

I'd bet that Trademark will push that delivery date once again.

As long as they are changing the stupid mold get them to take off the word chips and put 2-4 more hat and canes.
