Movie: The Descent
Oh dear god, I just watched this and it is the scariest movie I have seen possibly ever. Horror is by far the worst genre and I normally avoid it like the plague but I had heard good things about this and it really is superb. Go rent it if you haven't seen it, turn off all the lights, crank up the volume and prepare to be scared. (I recommend you empty your bowels prior to screening).

Nuh uh, i don't watch horror
What you mean rent? can you still rent movies?
If you want a nice feelgood flick i heartily recommend Goal! I don't think it comes out til next year but it's worth the watch, especially if your g/f, wife, mother likes football too.

The cute thing about horror movies is all the people who bravely tell us 'Well, I wasn't scared'...or...'Naw...I didn't think it was too scary really, just another one of the shelf'...or....'Horror movies don't really scare me you know'. Somehow they think this is better than actually being scared.
Copying their style to other genres we can come up with:
'I never really laugh at comedies you know, but I'm not the laughing type really'.
'Naw...it wasn't really anything touching, just another one of those of the shelf holocaust flicks'
'I never really get excited when I watch porn, it just seems so unrealistic to me I guess'
'Yeah, it's an ok drama but that sad scene in the end is just so cliche, so I just laughed when he was killed actually'
Horror movies rule, and they're made to scare.

Yes but that is because there is no testing element to a love story. A horror movie is unique BECAUSE you can have a real emotion watching it - no one EVER goes to a romantic comedy and falls in love.
You're in a theatre. You know you're safe. But sometimes you get scared anyway.
That means you're feeling a very pure emotion.
But horror movies for me aren't about my fears (I don't really have any). They're about an aesthetic. Horror movies are about - really about - self suffciency. The victims in a movie only fall prey to the killer because of self absorbtion, ego, distraction, and weakness - The survivor in a horror movie is he or she with the greater quality of calculatioin, guts and nerve.
Just like poker.
So poker = horror movie.
So if you hate horror movies you have to hate poker too.
Since if you are reading this you probably live for poker, and we are what we do from day to day, after all .. . if you are reading this and hate horror movies you also hate yourself.
So, in short...Geno needs a hug.

Well, two girls are English, one is Scottish, one is American, another is Irish but as for the other one, we had no idea where she was meant to be from. Her accent was almost as scary as what happens when they go underground............
4 days later, this movie is still plaguing me. One of you needs to see this and justify my girly ways.

Dude. Dude. Holy shit dude.
This was creepy. It was a creepy movie. If you're claustrophobic, it will be REALLY creepy.
This is why I stay out of West Virginia.
