My $2 to $100 challenge
Just for fun. I haven’t played poker properly for ages now, so thought I would see where I am on the donk scale.
I’m gonna challenge myself to turn £2 into $100. The question for you all is; how long will this take me?
Post your guess’s in total hours. I will only be playing a few hours per week & one table at a time, so this could take time. If I lose my bankroll, I will start again with $2, but the total hours will roleover and accumulate.
I will not be using (what I consider to be) correct bankroll management and will be starting on the $0.02-$0.05 9 seater tables.
I’ll edit this post to update you on my progress everytime I play.
Starting bankroll $2
Total after 1 hour $2.76
Total after 2 hours.......
Total after 3 hours.......
Total after 4 hours.......
Total after 5 hours.......
Total after 6 hours.......
Total after 7 hours.......
Total after 8 hours.......
Total after 9 hours.......

Estimate about 10 BB per hour on a .01 .02 table, that’s .20 an hour that’s 500 hours to make $100.00 at a few (3) hours a week ,that 167 weeks, 3.21 years to be precise. That’s presuming you stick to bankroll management techniques and play the stakes your bankroll can afford.

Re: My $2 to $100 challenge
Just to recap on what i said guys;
People are doubting whether I can do this. I love it. Extra pressure to perform and an even bigger incentive to prove them wrong. Keep your votes coming.

....which will probably be until i reach $5 - then i will probably move up the stakes.jimmer wrote:............ will be starting on the $0.02-$0.05 9 seater tables.

It's interesting that no one so far thinks I will make it. Would it be better if I ask you all how bug I can make my bankroll before I give up or run out of funds?

Ah, I see what you did there. So by saying I will fail and everyone will laugh at me - you are actually saying you think i can do it in a few hours and become a hero & role model to you?HalfSugar wrote:Is my reverse psychology not working yet?
I'm flattered - thank you!
Anyone other than jeff, miao and Geno want to have a guess?

Just let the £2 sit in your account. It won't be long until the US economy has tanked enough that $100 is worth two pounds.

lol last year our AUS $ was worth .65 US cents now $1.08. As poker accounts are all in US $ money held in poker accounts by me has depreciated by 40%.
Now thats a big loss
