My downfall

I was kicking @$$ and taking names until this hand.

17 people left in the tournamen.
Blinds 1-2K

Im 5th to act with 8 at my table.

UTG moves all in for his final 6K
Folds to me.
I have AK I have this guys number.

I raise to 16K with about 30K left.

Guy to my left folds and the lady next to him thinks for about 5 minutes.
No way shes putting on a show I have been watching her real close.

She decides after what seems to be a congressional meeting.

Flop AQ rag all rainbow.

im first to act I move in.

Once again the house is called into session and a vote is held and finally she calls.

Literally this takes about 10 minutes.

She shows QJ and has 2nd pair.

Turn comes J
River comes J

She boats and im crippled and out a couple hands later.

She claims she didnt think I had anything.

I say what was she thinking with that Ace on the board but alas.

What do you think of how this was played?

This has been killing me for a week as I was doing so well.....until then.

I think you should have called her into session and took her name.

Did you have 30k before or after your raise?

If that was your total before, I think you need to push all in preflop. If you are left w/ 14k and 48k in the pot, you are giving a lot of hands odds to draw out.

You are allowed to be a dick and call the clock on her after a few minutes of her thinking ... I'm guessing this wasn't a 10 - 25K buy-in event.
