My laptop is really slow-any suggestions???

Postby jimmer » Mon Nov 24, 2008 4:53 pm GMT

I haven't a clue about computers so please write all advice in plain english.

For the last week or so, my laptop has been really really slow.

I'm sat on a cash game table on Pokerstars and I probably lose connection around 2 times per rotation.

Any ideas?

have you scanned for viruses and spyware? If that dosn't fix it, try defragging your hard drive.

here is a link to spybot download which should take care of most spyware - http://www.spybot.com/en/mirrors/index.html

here is a guide on how to run a defrag - http://www.hoax-slayer.com/defrag-xp.html
