Nevada Jack's (deadman) vs. Nexgen's???

Postby ky70 » Sun Mar 13, 2005 12:34 pm GMT

Okay...I'm looking to get a set of 500 chips by this Saturday (I have a big game coming up). I already own 600 Nexgen's and my thinking is that I don't want to go through the label application with 500 more Nexgen's, so I need another chip.

I want something that is an upgrade of the Nexgen's or step below ( 9 gram Las Vegas pro clay's would be the choice here). Are the NJ Deadman's a considerable upgrade from Nexgen's? Are there other chips costing $300-350 and below that you consider a nice upgrade to the Nexgen's? If it's not an considerable improvement that I can get in that dollar range, I'd rather just go with the Las Vegas Clay's which can be had for a real reasonable price on Ebay these days.

Anyone with both the Nexgen's and the Nevada Jack's, I'd really like to hear from you...

P.S. I'm not particularly interested in the NJ Desert Sands.

Thanks!

I've had both sets of chips, and in my opinion, the NJ's are a huge upgrade. Not really a fair comparison. I would go with the dead mans. That is my opinion.

Huge upgrade. Like going from 22 to AA.

I've always been very partial to the NJ Deadman chips. I like them a lot.

Unfortunately, I like them so much that all the chips now stick together.
