yeah I got 500 of the old bonds off e-bay and I just cant justify having two sets of chips with the same inlay.
plus the old bonds are a bit better in my opinion.

i was skeptical at first about spending that kind of money especially sine the new paulsons are out, but there really is no comparison in feel and looks.

The sound however is quite similar.

But everything else I have to give an edge to the old bonds (except price of course)

The sound is almost identical, but the old Paulsons stick together better and, aside from the $500 chip, look better than the new Paulsons.

i kind of like the new 1000 chip vs the old but ey ya cant have everything.

what paulson needs to do is change the mold to the old style cross hatching wich is very fine, almost sandpaper like. they should also add the concentric circles around the chips. then the new chips would be very cool. I wouldnt even mind the paulson chips in the new mold if they made those changes.
