Anyone know who is manufacturing these? I love the mold.

Blue Chip.
They're nothing but modified Nevada Jacks Martini Club chips.

Right. I can't believe I didn't catch that. I'm such a loser.

You're not a loser.
I was just saying that they look really nice, but that's all they are. Most people's faces turn sour when they hear that Blue Chips is manufacturing a chip.

With NJ, I think he tries to rid the batches of defects before letting them go out, and I bet holdempokerchips.com will do the same. So I wouldn't worry about it in the least.

Plus the fact that the Mardi Gras inlay design kicks ass!

Ten is right on about NJ. The last order I made, they were on back order and when I called to see if they were in, she told me she was looking them over for problems and was going to have them in the mail that day. I am sure some slip through the cracks, but like I have experienced in the past, they will exchange the problem chips you get.

I love the Martini Club mold, it feels and plays great. And all the BC chips I have are good quality.

Plus I think the new Mardi Gras inlay is classy and terrific. (Ten stole my "kick ass" description.)

Great job!

P.S. The digital mock-ups on HPC's site don't do these chips justice, IMHO. If they look like the Martini's, they'll look even better: http://www.nevadajacks.net/mall/martini_club.htm And the real chips look even better than the pictures. Their red $5 chip is one of my all-time favorites.

One of the biggest QC faults of BC chips are the 'spinnies'...which are chips that will spin like a top on their face because they are warped slightly.

Personally...my biggest beaf above all others.

The nature of the Nevada, Martini and even BPC molds are that they help avoid this really annoying issue. I've lost count on how many regular BC 'flame' mold chips I have that are spinnies.

I can't wait to see these chips. Good color combos and the Martini is a seriously great mold. (It's a retired casino mold, for those that don't know)

Cheers,
John

Is there a way (from BC directly of maybe from NJ) to get that mold with custom or semi-custom (non-denom) inlay?

yes i believe you can.

Blue Chip

You can order clay chips with a printed center and multi-colored edge spots directly from Blue Chip Company for 75¢ per chip plus $250 in art fees. Blue Chip does not have a website and you will have to deal with the owner directly to order your chips. They are located in Las Vegas (702) 399-0382

If you want the Nevada mold it will cost you more like $1.10/$1.25 depending on whether you do the artwork yourself and you will have to go through Nevada Jacks. As for ordering from BC, you wont get them for .75 unless your are ordering thousands. I don’t know the exact number but if you are ordering a few hundred or even 1000, expect to pay around a buck. Also they wont sell less than 400 - straight from Mike Endy's mouth.

Thanks for the replies and assistance folks. I do have one more question. Is the Martini Club mold owned by NJ or Blue CHips? IE if I were to order some non-denom martini's who would I contact? Would the art fee apply to an existing inlay design with just the denoms removed? Thanks again for the help.

The Martini Club "Suits" mold is owned by Nevada Jacks as is the
"Nevada" mold
