new jb paulsons broke my heart

Postby wheels » Sun Mar 27, 2005 4:54 pm GMT

i've waited months and finally i have some new jb samples. those beautiful hats and canes are gone and replaced with the words "paulson chips". Very depressing. The sound, however is excellent! I'll sacrifice one for the other. But, now there's another issue: the inlay is covered with a slick, shinny plastic, taking away the feel of this wonderful clay. Close your eyes and rub and it'll feel like a cheap chip. Here's the real kicker; after shuffling these chips for just 2 days, the dayglo edgespots are dirty and grimmy. I couldn't beleive it. I went back and checked my horse head samples, which i had been shuffling for 2 months and can see no dirt at all. I guess the dayglo attracts dirt very well. So i cleaned 'em up.
Can't imagine cleaning 600 chips 4 or 5 times a year. That's the last straw. I'm ordering ASM horse heads tommorrow with my own chip color, my own edgespot color, and best of all, they dont have the words "pokerchips.com" stamped into the chip for advertising.

You're about a month late, but you're finding out along with the rest of us that you can't have your cake and eat it, too, with poker chips.
