New Paulson Chips Review
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have recived my chips (although one of the denoms I ordered was mixed up) but thats another story for another time.
Looks wise the new mold is great
The pics on trademark are for sh*t.
The texture (feel) is excellent way better then the JBS mostly due to the enlarged area of texture, but they seem to have a little more of a fine linen like texture than the JBS, similar but not exactly like the old Bonds
I just wish the inlay was also textured.
To me they seem eisier to shuffle out of the box than the JBS.
I personally love the colored inlays as I feel each chip stands out a lttle more.
The colors I have seen in person are the BLUE GREEN BLACK AND YELLOW (also the red wich I cant stand no matter what mold its on or what they do to the inlay) but I didnt order red i wanted purple but they mixed up at the warehouse so ill be seeing the purple next week
Unless my samples arrive tommorow.
of the 1000 chips only 1 had an off center inlay
but there were a few that had the printing a little of center.
they stack like the bonds and there were no spinners to report in the batch. (thank god) after the NJS AND THE Chipcos Ive had I think I would have gone if there were any chips that spun.
Definatley heavier than the JBS even if only slightly
The Pharoahs should look excellent with this mold and no one will want the JB mold once they have felt this one its not even close in that department.
I didnt oil them yet because Ive recently had my fill cleaning and oiling 1500 national casino chips ( I mean one by one with a toothbrush to clean them and then oiling each one after)
Anyway hope this Helps/Comforts anyone who has doubts about the new mold and if its up to par, it is and other than the Old bonds chips Ive had these chips rank at the top of the list. If they had textured inlays the only thing the old Bonds would have over this chip is the classic hat and cane mold with out the PAULSON CHIPS but hey ill take these at .95 a chip vs $2 a chip for the old ones anyday
Anyway if anyone has anymore questions Pm me or just respond to this post, I need at some point real soon...
