New PKR advert
Has anyone in the UK watched the new advert for the PKR online site.
I couldnt help but wonder at the opening lines -
"I've reraised pot sized bets on the turn with middle pair"
"i've bluffed under the gun with 5 runners behind"
and
"i've folded Kings preflop on a hunch"
I couldnt work out if it was an attempt to make it look like a fish pond to attract new players or if they really just suck.

PKR is retarded. I've never played it but if it really is the same as the adverts and TV shows, then they absolutely must be a fish pond because no discerning player would want to reduce their hands/hr rate in favour of really bad animations and the like.
I expect that the opening lines are not to entice in the fish, the PKR marketing guys think they are being cool. It makes me sad.

I posted about this a while ago, I just think it’s another poker client desperately trying to find a gimmick so it can pick up some players in an already flooded market.
However, when they do televise the tourneys they’re more interesting to watch then 2D ones.
