New WPT Season 8 Format

The WPT has adopted a new format for Season 8, three one-hour episodes per tournament instead of the two hours they have had historically. The final table still starts with the final six players but they obviously have more coverage. Spoiler: In the first tournament the entire first hour didn't have a bust out.

I think I like the new format.

My only problem is that most of the air times in our area follow basketball games which tend to run long and cut into the start. I've yet to see or Tivo the first fifteen minutes of the second hour despite three attempts.
