villan is 21/15/2.4
nothing else happened in the time at the table

1) as played do u fold, if not why not, what do u think his range is ?
2) say i decide to lead out and he raises , again what do u do depending on his raise size, what range u think he is on and how do u react to it?

i cant for the life of me understand why u c/r, u overrep ur hand massively, so therefore he prolly has something massiver*. A better line would be to c/c to the river, if you lead its player dependent , some people will spaz out , you should aim this line at LAGs

i dont like it. if youre checkraising the turn it should be with the intention of getting it in.. if you dont want to get it in, dont raise and just call

yeah ur both right, my thinking was if i just call hes gonna fire river big and i dont know where i'm at , so if i minraise i get less money in to find out where i'm at since i dont think he ships without a better hand

meh AJ is really bad for me in hu spots
and this was deffo one in a thousand line which should probably be the last time ever too :D

AJ OOP is one of these hands that either win you a small pot or lose you a big one.
When the game is good (ie you can get 4 streets of value with TPTK) there is really no need to put your self in this situation often.

You could play this hand if you have good reads on your opponent and you plan to make some moves on some boards.
As played against a random with these stats I c/c 2 streets and fold to a big river bet. villain have to be very good (or very bad) to bet 3 streets with a hand you beat.

This is often how I play these TPGK hands OOP, but I'm never happy with the river fold as I think I'm spewing by c/c 2 streets and folding. I personally suck with AJ OOP and typically try and c/r the flop (when its still relatively cheap) to get a fold from a cbettor who missed. If called on the flop c/r I usually c/f the turn, or if the turn checks through I throw out a smallish (1/2 pot?) blocking bet.

A fairly tight player raises UTG and we 3-bet him OOP? What does this accomplish that we like?

Well, I don't know numbers the best, but 21/15 is tight? Couldn't he raise with lower pockets, KQ, QJ or so in 6 max? I would.
If I 3 bet pf this, at least I will find out soon, where I stand.

Check/Call flop..lead out on that turn? blocker bet/check fold river if he calls turn. If he re raises turn, fold.

This is how i might play this hand ^^^, but i should stay away from cash probably, being a donkament player.

Your right he's not THAT tight, tighter than the ones I play against though.

I don't think we get much info, IMO he calls with most of that range and may not 4-bet with strong hands. /shrug knowing the flop may be effecting your decision or maybe I'm just a nit.

i hate AJ, but as played i c-r flop to see where im at/take pot away from a nitty Ax. if u get raised then instafold. if u get flatted then check turn and river for cheap SD. but if flatted maybe he has draw so hard to say

You have almost the worst possible hand to take this line with. Save this sort of line for when you have nothing, or something good. You're basically forcing him to play perfectly against you, by folding when he's behind and calling/raising when he's ahead. Yee.

Sorry if that came off as harsh, but yuck ;P
