No pros! No hustlers! No sharks!
I've just seen an advert on TV for Cool Hand Poker.
The advert specifically made reference to the fact that there are No pros! No hustlers! No sharks!.
How do they guarantee that?
Anyone have any experience of this site?

They're part of the Microgaming Network, which used to be Prima.
I dunno. They've always had gaming sites like 32red.com which isn't exactly a great name for a site, so I've never really respected them until they partnered with Ladbrokes a while ago and more recently, took some steps to stop data mining, which I'm all for.
That is a marketing phrase though, there's no way to know if a player is a "pro". The question in my head is if it's false enough to take class action against.

I guess it is probably referring more to the red pro status like marketing that full tilt and pokerstars do.
There have been cases where bookmakers will refuse to take a bet from you if you keep winning considerable amounts of money. I have heard stories that prima sites have kicked off winning players from time to time but I don't tend to really believe that.
I think it's more likely to be the first paragraph rather than the second.

Re: No pros! No hustlers! No sharks!
I was thinking about this last night.
In theory, depending on how much money you have won or lost, they could force you to play at certain stakes. For example, if you are consistantly a winner on the $0.10-$0.20 tables, they could limit the amount of tables open to you so the min stakes you could play at is $0.25-$0.50 etc.
I doubt it's that complicated, but hope it would draw in a lot of beguiners as they would know they aren't gonna be hustled.
Either way, if they are marketing people new to poker, surely there is a massive insentive for established players who want some easy money!

Re: No pros! No hustlers! No sharks!
unrelated entirely to lucky hand poker
Ipoker clients such as VC poker and Blonde poker have kicked off their highest winning players in recent months. U can find out about it by simple google search. Basically the network is ipoker and the individual skins are powerless to act against the t+c's that they signed up to.
VC apologise profusely but cant do anything, i recall reading on another forum the email somebody received and it read a little like:
"sorry but you win too much so now you are banned from playing these limits : xxxxxxx"
