Odds question
Hello all.
First time poster, long time reader.
I have a simple question about calculating odds in game.
I calculate odd's based on how many outs are left. I know its different for each flop/turn/river, however don't most people round.
The calculation i have been going buy is outs*2% per card.
So if im holding A,2 and im going for a straight and the flop looks like this:
3,4,10 My chances to hit a 5 are 4*2% or 8% on the turn. Overall it would be 15% chance on both the turn and river.
I don't think most people calculate odds to the tenth of percent in games.
Please tell me if my logic is incorrect.
