Omaha is the sh*t

Postby skel » Fri Jul 23, 2004 7:58 am GMT

Anyone else like Omaha? I dont know how to play hi low but I made all my money back that I had lost the past couple weeks playing omaha penny games. Even the .01/.02 omaha games you can win like 5 bucks in one hand. Everyone just keeps reraising because they think their pair of aces is the shit. Anyways I think its a fun game and will try playing more of it tonight.

Definately a fun game once you can adjust to the different starting hand standards and winning hands. It can definately be profitable if you have a bunch of Hold'em players involved.

Omaha can be very very profitable. Especially at low limit/low buy in Pot limit tables. Most players have no clue what they're doing and are going to see every flop so when you have the goods it pays off reallky well.

Yep was playing the .1/.02cent table. Its amazing because even at the penny tables you can make 5 bucks on a good hand. Its very difficult to know what your holding in your hand sometimes. Sometimes youll have a 2, 6, 7 K rainbow and wind up getting a full house or hold a AA, KK and wind up with nothing but a pair. It seems like people dont know how to play. They will have AAA in their hand and think they have trips. Kinda funny but a great game

I've played omaha a few times before. I like the game alot, just not a big fan of hi/lo. when i started played i did make the mistake of mis readin my hand and forgetting to use 2 cards instead of one. Has anyone else made these mistakes. Now my omaha game has improved....and it still can even more. I think omaha ranks in the top 2 with texas hold'em. thats just my opinion tho.
