Once again a nice prize escapes me

Royal Vegas 17K GUARANTEED

I just got knocked out 83/452.

20th Place with 22K
Blinds 500-1000 antes 200
I pick up JJ, raise it up and get one caller.

Flop 89T rainbow. I bet out, I raises all-in (He started with about 18K) and I call. I thought he might have QQ-AA or hit trips but either way I still have outs and the pot and odds were too good to pass up.

He turns over AT. Then hits a T on the river.

Up until then I was doing well but it hit me for 6 and I went out in the next hand with an A3 push that ran into AK.

It's almost 1am so I think I'll take a break, have a coffee and watch Pearl Harbour (would should be finished tapping right now)

I don't know why I'm bothering to type all this, I guess it's part of the healing process :)

Later all.

I just sooooooooooo want a phat tourney win :(

It been months since I've made a final table and this would have been a really good cash to tell my friends about.

It's like I spend hours grinding out money that I just drop on tourney buy-ins. If I didn't bother I could of cashed out a nice little profit now.
